We have two Diver's Lodges (for groups) , adjacent to the store. They can each house at least 22 people. Each lodge has at least three bathrooms, and a full kitchen and cooking utensils are provided. The lodges are within walking distance of restaurants, night spots and sight seeing in historic Beaufort. There are also numerous motels within a five mile radius of the store.
The East Lodge is divided into two sections, the main house and the bunk house. The main house can lodge 14 people, and has a full kitchen and three bathrooms. The bunk house can sleep eight people and it has a refrigerator.
The West Lodge is also divided into two sections, an upstairs and a downstairs. The upstairs (which consists of the main floor and the attic) can lodge a max of 21 people, has a full kitchen and three bathrooms. The downstairs sleeps 10 people and has two bathrooms.
Both houses are air conditioned and do not include bed linens or towels. Each kitchen has a refrigerator, 4-burner range, microwave, cooking utensils, silverware and dishes. Both lodges are located approximately 75 yards from the dive store. The lodge provides convenient, dormitory-style housing.
Cost for renting the house is $20.00 per person per night with a minimum of $120.00 per group per night. Linen is available for a fee of $5.00 per set. We reserve the right to put two different groups in each lodge. If you are a group of seven or less and are the first to book into either lodge, you will automatically be placed in the main house of the East Lodge or the upstairs of the West Lodge. If a larger group calls to book in one of the remaining parts of either lodge, your group will be moved into either the bunkhouse of the East Lodge or the downstairs of the West Lodge. However, you may guarantee your original lodge booking by paying the $210.00 minimum per night for the front of the East Lodge or the $240.00 minimum per night for the upstairs of the West Lodge.
A $10.00 key deposit is also required. The houses are expected to be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Trash must be disposed of daily in the dumpster located in the dive store parking lot. The $10.00 key deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the lodges and the return of the keys. Also please do not plan on checking into the lodges prior to 6:00 p.m., this will afford the groups staying in them the opportunity to shower after their charter before hitting the road. The cancellation policy for the lodges is the same as it is for charters, you have thirty days prior to the date of your arrival to cancel or change your reservations.
