Able to rent my wife and myself gear when the other dive shop would not. The gear wasn't the best, but the price was right and the folks in the shop were nice.

After calling another place and being told they were booked for the near future, I called Discovery. I spoke with a delightful woman who was very helpful, but couldn't give me two spots going to the U-352. But she tried to find out about another boat so she could accommodate me. After we had to give up and i made plans to head that way in October, she called me back. Someone had cancelled and she knew she had to call me.

My girlfriend and I got there after a long drive to a really nice room at their other business, Beaufort Harbour Suites. We got some rest and reported to the dive shop at 6 am. The staff was quick and friendly. They got everything on the Captain's Lady for us and we took off. Weather was threatening, but the Captain steered us between storms and put us over the German submarine. We had a great dive, but came up in the middle of a storm that wasn't there when we went down. The Captain guided everyone safely back on the boat and slowly made his way to our next dive site so could avoid more storms.

The next dive site, the Aeolus, was gorgeous. We had great visibility and were joined by three sharks as well as numerous barracuda. After another great dive, we got on the boat and headed back. The Captain had provided us drinks and snacks as well as a safe, fun trip.

At the shop, the staff continued to be fast, efficient, and friendly. They gave us another room at the the Inn because we had decided to stay the night. We had a great evening along the waterfront of Beaufort and another great night's rest.

The shop has the essentials. It isn't large enough to have a great selection, but we needed a couple of things and they had those covered. The operation appears to be a well run family business that really aims to please. We don't often go to the same place twice, but we decided on this trip that we would have to return and try other wrecks they go to.

Great job, guys! Really top notch!

Kathy, Laura, and I received our boat diver cards in today's mail. I just want to say thanks again. We will contact you soon about additional courses. Next, we would like to take the Deep and Wreck courses with you, sometime next season. Lee was a great instructor. We enjoy diving with Captain Leroy on Captain's Lady. Again, you are all great. We are looking forward to our next adventure together.

Discovery Put us on the wrecks and the Sharks! the boat crew was excellent and extremely knowledgeable as it pertained to the wreck sites, marine life, diving procedures and local history. We did a total of 7 dives over 3 days and were very satisfied. Me and my crew will be back!
