We love our community of divers here at Discovery and we strive to create consistent events that bring us together! We have close to 50 years of experience with these events.

Our Eastern Carolina Dive Club is a revival of our 1980s era club- different in some ways but with the same goal of uniting divers across Eastern NC. We host monthly events year-round, from summer shore dives and cookouts to talks from local educators and fun social meet-ups. Check out our Facebook group to have a look at our recent activities!

One of our favorite and most popular events is our Annual Underwater Treasure Hunt, going on our 46th year! For one sunny day in October, we all become treasure divers searching for painted shells at Radio Island then bringing them back to the dive shop for a prize drawing and bbq cookout. Prizes include dive gear, dive travel, local merchandise and gift certificates. Everyone is a winner and ticket proceeds go to charity!
