Come join us at Discovery Diving for our Ocean Guardian Dive Club! We will be not only teaching children about the wonders of diving, but of the wonders of the ocean and how to care for it!

Participants will be certified as a Beginner Diver, also known as a PADI Open Water Diver! Designed for ages 12-14, participants will be Junior Open Water Divers by the end of the course.

The Ocean Guardian Program helps diving children to develop an appreciation for, and knowledge of, ocean conservation!

In the first module, the Ocean Guardian Diver Module, students will learn about the mission of the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries and will understand role of marine protected areas in supporting a healthy ocean.

The second Module, the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Module, teaches about

• Mangroves

• Seagrass beds

• Coral reefs

• How these are habitats are connected

• Marine Debris

Classes run from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Certification dives are on Thursday and Friday with the High Tide.
